The Maxwell Center: There’s No Place Like OUR Home!

Since opening March 1, 2018, Maxwell Regional Agricultural and Convention Center, referred to as The Maxwell Center, has generated an estimated $5 million+ in new revenue for the local economy each year. As we approach our eighth anniversary, The Maxwell Center continues to stay booked with both new and returning clients. From multi-day corporate trainings to holiday parties for the local U.S. Air Force base and the different Fighter Wings, blood drives, assorted meetings, conferences, conventions, trainings, weddings, receptions, reunions, church gatherings, and many other events, The Maxwell Center shows all its clients how much we appreciate them and their events.

The Maxwell Center offers top-quality rental areas and provides many in-house services, including lighting and décor packages. Working with regional caterers, The Maxwell Center offers delicious food options, with dozens of caterers serving everything from boxed lunches, barbecue, elegant hors d’oeuvres, or a plated multi-course dinner.

Located in Goldsboro, in Wayne County, N.C., in the eastern part of the state, The Maxwell Center is approximately one hour from Raleigh, Greenville, New Bern, and Fayetteville. Only slightly farther from Wilmington, Cary, and other cities in North Carolina, The Maxwell Center is a great, centrally located convention center for your regional gathering in eastern North Carolina.

Home away from home at our place

BPR Properties has opened a Homewood Suites across the parking lot on our campus. The all-suite hotel features approximately 2,000 square feet of additional meeting space, which may be used in tandem with events at The Maxwell Center. It is located just a short walk across our parking lot.
