
SAN ANTONIO—The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio has named Brian Huchingson as its new director of sales and marketing.
Huchingson will oversee all marketing strategy, brand communications, and sales operations for the 473-room property, which serves group, transient, and meetings and events markets. His responsibilities will also include leading the sales team, strengthening client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Huchingson brings more than 25 years of hospitality experience in sales, revenue management, and commercial strategy. Most recently, he served as director of commercial services for Zachry Hotels, supporting Hilton Palacio del Rio and overseeing revenue operations for two Embassy Suites properties, all in San Antonio. Huchingson’s previous roles included senior leadership positions with Hilton Worldwide, Omni Hotels, and Sage Hospitality.
The hotel says Huchingson’s appointment reflects its commitment to growth and community engagement in downtown San Antonio.

Located along the San Antonio River Walk and near the Alamo, The Westin Riverwalk features guest rooms with river and city views, a rooftop pool deck, the WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio, and more than 26,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Its signature restaurant, Zocca Cuisine d’Italia, offers contemporary Italian dishes in a riverside setting.
