Located in downtown Winston-Salem, Benton Convention Center is one of North Carolina’s largest meeting facilities, featuring 144,000 square feet of meeting space. Its largest space accommodates a capacity of 4,822 people theater style. The 319-room Winston-Salem Marriott Hotel and 146-room Embassy Suites Hotel connect to the convention center and accommodate small and mid-size events. A short walk away, the elegant 174-room Kimpton Cardinal Hotel boasts 6,375 square feet of event space to host up to 245 guests theater style in its largest event space.
Wake Forest Biotech Place Conference Center offers 24,720 square feet of event space across 11 event spaces, including a 120-person auditorium and a large atrium accommodating up to 500 people. Winston-Salem’s Arts Council Campus has venues available for special events, including Hanesbrands Theatre, Winston-Salem’s premier black-box theatre. The theater also accommodates non-theatrical events, including receptions and catered events for up to 300 guests. The lobby of Hanesbrands Theatre features a dramatic two-story mirrored mural and can host up to 150 people for events. Additional private event space on the arts campus is available at Reynolds Place Theatre and Mountcastle Forum.
Unique venues include the historic Graylyn Estate Hotel & Conference Center, a former private estate with 15,000 square feet of meeting space across 25 rooms. Versatile event spaces at Kaleideum, a $43 million children’s museum, can accommodate private events of 20 to 2,000 guests.
