ORLANDO, Fla. – SeaWorld in Orlando has plans to develop two onsite hotels.
The Florida-based theme park has submitted plans to Orange County for a 250-room hotel at its Discovery Cove resort, MyNews13.com reports.
The article states the hotel will be located near the park’s entrance and will feature amenities such as 7,000 square feet of meeting space, a restaurant, pool, bar, fitness center, and retail space.
This news follows the company filing plans for its onsite hotel, which the article says will be a 15-story, 504-room property with meeting space, restaurants, and a rooftop terrace.
While SeaWorld hasn’t publicly released details on the projects, MyNews13.com reports CEO Marc Swanson said in a November earnings call that the company hopes to open the hotels in 2026.
According to the article, SeaWorld is central Florida’s only major theme park without an onsite hotel.
