
AUSTIN, Texas – Downright Austin is opening in spring 2024, joining the global Renaissance Hotels brand.
According to a press release, Downright Austin will feature a “bold and postmodern” lobby experience, 367 guest rooms including five suites, 31,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event spaces, and new culinary concepts, all within blocks of the Texas State Capitol and Moody Amphitheater. Guests can now get a preview of the newly designed rooms at exclusive preopening rates before the grand opening event.

With a commitment to bringing something fresh and dynamic to the lively landscape of Austin, Downright Austin will add an elevated social scene and an exciting calendar of curated programming and events.”
Located within steps from the Red River District, home to some of the city’s best live music venues, Downright Austin includes Lost Boy & Co., which, in collaboration with local industry veterans FBR Management, is set to unveil two distinctive dining and cocktail experiences within the property. Set in a sunken dining room with submarine views of the adjacent new pool, one of the restaurants will offer “poolside leisure and summertime fare.” Additionally, a new lobby concept featuring a walk-up counter with offer coffee or on-the-go breakfast.
