The IACC-certified Friday Conference Center, operated by the University of North Carolina (UNC), is a 23-minute drive from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). The venue features 25,000 square feet of flexible space across 26 meeting rooms. Chapel Hill’s largest meeting hotel, the newly renovated 172-room Sheraton Chapel Hill Hotel has 19,564 square feet of meeting space; its largest space can accommodate 650 people for receptions. The hotel also has a 6,900-square-foot outdoor event deck, which can host up to 150 people for receptions.
On UNC’s campus, the four-star historic Carolina Inn, a Destination by Hyatt Hotel boasts more than 14,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event venues. Its largest space can accommodate 380 seated theater style.
