The 30,000-square-foot Gastonia Conference Center has 10 meeting rooms, flexible event spaces, and a 5,100-square-foot ballroom, which can accommodate more than 450 people for meetings and 300 for seated banquets.
Hotels with event space include the 119-room Hilton Garden Inn Gastonia, which has 10,108 square feet of meeting space. Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte Gastonia has 130 guest rooms and 2,876 square feet of event space for smaller events.
The three-star, 35-room Esquire Hotel Downtown Gastonia, Ascend Hotel Collection occupies a historic building and has several event areas, including a patio for cocktail receptions, a restaurant for private dinners, and a rooftop space. Additional guest accommodations in Gastonia are available at Hampton Inn Charlotte-Gastonia, Courtyard Charlotte Gastonia, and several other national brands.
Area attractions include Schiele Museum of Natural History & Planetarium, Rankin Lake Park, and American Military Museum of Gastonia.
