Nicknamed “Louisiana’s Playground,” Lake Charles blends professional development with championship golf, live entertainment, and coastal excursions.

Lake Charles Event Center features 83,260 square feet across eight main areas, including the 7,500-seat Suddeth Memorial Coliseum, the 2,050-seat Rosa Hart Theatre, and an exhibition hall with a capacity of 1,400 trade show attendees.
In Sulfur, West Cal Arena & Event Center features a 17,705-square-foot indoor facility and a 135,000-square-foot covered arena. The indoor exhibit hall seats 1,400 theater style or 560 banquet style and can be divided into three 910-square-foot breakout rooms. The outdoor arena features permanent stadium seating for more than 1,800 people.
Lake Charles offers 7,300 guest rooms. The 1,100-room Golden Nugget Casino Resort features 29,305 square feet across 15 rooms, including the 18,000-square-foot Grand Events Center. The 1,000-room L’Auberge Casino Resort has 26,000 square feet of adaptable space, including 11 flexible rooms anchored by a 14,140-square-foot ballroom. The 252-room Horseshoe Casino & Hotel features 3,835 square feet of flexible meeting space. Each of these waterfront resorts offers championship golf, a lazy river, and fine dining.
Downtown Lake Charles features new culinary additions like Crying Eagle Lakefront, Augustine, and Coffee:30. For excursions, groups can explore the Creole Nature Trail, enjoy teambuilding at Lake Area Adventures, or discover waterfront aquariums at Port Wonder.
