BOSSIER CITY, La.—The new $270 million-plus Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana by The Cordish Companies officially opens for business today.
The event center at Live! is a multi-use meeting, concert, and event venue is Shreveport-Bossier’s newest space for touring acts, comedians, and other entertainment.
The property features 47,000 square feet of gaming space with more than 1,000 slots and electronic table games and more than 40 live-action table games. There is also a dedicated High Limits room and an industry-leading sportsbook.
The 12-storey Live! Hotel has 549 rooms and a resort-style pool and fitness center. Event planners can take advantage of 25,000 square feet of customizable meeting space, which can accommodate groups of 12 to nearly 1,200 guests. There is also convenient access to parking with an attached multi-level structured parking facility and adjacent surface parking and a 31-site RV park with concrete pads and full hook-ups.
Guests can enjoy 30,000 square feet of dining and entertainment options, including Luk Fu®, a vibrant Asian-themed restaurant featuring the traditional flavors of southeast Asia; a luxurious fine-dining experience at The Prime Rib®; and Ridotto Grand Café, conveniently located adjacent to the hotel lobby, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an Italian flair.
For watching games on the big screen, sports bar Sports & Social® offers guests an immersive sports-entertainment atmosphere. PBR Cowboy Bar offers high-energy music, expansive bars, private VIP tables, and a mechanical bull.
