DALLAS, Texas – Arbor Lodging, a Chicago-based hotel investment and management group, recently received Hyatt’s Best Renovation Award for its work on Hyatt Place Dallas/Arlington Hotel.
Arbor Lodging was part of a select group of award recipients at the October 2021 Hyatt Americas Owners Conference in Huntington Beach, Calif.
Hyatt annually recognizes top hotel owners, operators, and developers with awards in seven categories such as strategic partner, developer of the year, best renovation, and best new hotel. The 2021 Best Renovation Award recognized the company for its revitalization of the hotel, which features both a case goods and soft goods renovation, an expanded breakfast area, as well as a refreshed lobby, meeting space, and guest room arrangement.
“We are both honored and humbled to receive this prestigious award from Hyatt,” said Sheenal Patel, CEO of Arbor Lodging. “Our team has worked tirelessly over these past few years, so we are thankful to be recognized as the winner by Hyatt, one of the leading names in global hospitality, and truly value our relationship with them.”
“As we continue to pursue thoughtful growth, we are focused on working alongside owners and developers who are aligned with Hyatt’s purpose of care,” said Jim Tierney, Hyatt’s senior vice president of development and owner relations. “We look forward to growing our relationship with Sheenal and his team at Arbor Lodging and we are thrilled to recognize their contributions with the Best Renovation Award.”
Most recently, the company was also announced as a winner during the awards presentation of the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS). Arbor Lodging was honored with the Merger & Acquisition of the Year 2020 award for its substantial 12-hotel portfolio acquisition in January of 2020. The acquisition expanded Arbor Lodging Partners’ portfolio to 37 full-service and select-service properties across the United States.
