VisitAugusta.com; @VisitAugusta—The 372-room Augusta Marriott at The Convention Center overlooks Savannah River and features 81,102 square feet, accommodating 3,895 for receptions and 1,800 for banquets in its largest space. Construction of the new James Brown Arena at Augusta Entertainment Complex is underway, with an anticipated opening in early 2027. The new structure, which will replace the original 40-year-old arena, will increase seating from 7,000 to 10,500 and will feature new ballrooms, terraces, meeting rooms, and an outdoor plaza. A concourse will connect the new facility to an expanded, redeveloped Bell Auditorium.
