KEY WEST, Fla. – The all-new, waterfront Barbary Beach House Key West is officially open.
Resting on the famed southernmost shores of the United States, the 184-room, oceanfront resort just completed an extensive conversion.
“Barbary Beach House is a tribute to the explorer’s spirit, where guests can cast off the ordinary and embrace their adventurous side,” said general manager Milos Davidovic. “In addition to unmatched natural beauty and the very best of island life, we offer a sense of place where guests can be rejuvenated by a new lust for life.”
Barbary Beach House Key West offers exceptional guest amenities, elegant coastal design elements, and an expansive stretch of palm-dotted beachfront along Smathers Beach.
The resort’s location allows guests to enjoy the eclectic energy of downtown just a few blocks away, or soak in the serenity of the Atlantic, with the beach as their front yard.
Spacious suite accommodations feature separate bedroom and kitchen/living areas with all the extra touches and nods to a relaxed and sophisticated retreat. A number of rooms also include private balconies with ocean, garden, and resort views to slip away and enjoy some off-the-grid solitude.
For weddings or intimate celebrations, the resort offers stylish indoor banquet space, and outdoor blossoming gardens and courtyards, complete with a1,500-square-foot event Palapa, an elegant, open hut with a thatched cover, crafted from dried palm leaves.
The pet-friendly hotel is just over one mile from the Key West International Airport.
Following recommended guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the resort has implemented strict health and safety guidelines, including recommended social distancing protocols and restrictive measures for dining venues.
Additional protocols, as directed by local government and health officials, are also being observed.
