Known for its live entertainment scene with more than 100 shows, Branson is a standout choice for meetings, events, and family getaways, says Sierra Delrosa, sales coordinator for Explore Branson. “Conference attendees often bring their families along, knowing that Branson’s attractions, such as Silver Dollar City theme park, interactive museums, and family-friendly shows, ensure there is something for all ages. This makes it easy for meeting attendees to extend their stay, knowing their loved ones will be entertained while they attend meetings.”
Event spaces at the 292-room Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel, with five meeting rooms totaling 3,462 square feet, and 242-room Hilton Promenade, with 1,898 square feet of function space, can be combined with Branson Convention Center, which has a 47,172-square-foot exhibit hall and a 22,703-square-foot ballroom. The facilities are adjacent to Branson Landing, with more than 100 shops, restaurants, and attractions.
Branson has more than 20,000 guest rooms. Big Cedar Lodge, a resort on Table Rock Lake, has 362 private accommodations, including lodges, on-course golf accommodations, cabins, and cottages. It also has multiple unique meeting and event spaces, including the 1,000-person-capacity Grandview Ballroom and multiple meeting rooms in the Grandview Conference Center; the historic Worman House, which can accommodate 100 guests; and the 36-passenger Lady Liberty Yacht.
Groups can participate in a variety of teambuilding activities. The 301-room Chateau on the Lake Resort Spa & Convention Center has more than 53,000 square feet of indoor event space to host up to 1,000 guests, plus a garden terrace and pavilion on the lake. The 472-room Thousand Hills Resort Hotel has more than 16,000 square feet of exhibit and meeting space.
College of the Ozarks offers a unique and inspiring setting for meetings, events, and retreats, according to Delrosa. “This liberal arts college campus features beautifully maintained gardens, historical landmarks, and stunning views of the surrounding hills,” she says. “You can take part in experiences showcasing the college’s tradition of hard work, such as touring the college’s working dairy farm, bakery, or mill, and getting a behind-the-scenes look at how students contribute to their education while learning practical skills.” The Keeter Center on campus features the 15-suite Mabee Lodge, a farm-to-fork restaurant, bakery, and coffee shop with event space, including the 321-seat Royal Oak Forum and the 4,400-square-foot Silver Dollar City Parlor, which seats 300 theater style.
