Recent upgrades include up to 25-gig speeds for citywide broadband and expanded service at Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA), now with nonstop flights to 15 cities.
Set to open in September 2025, the 184-room Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Downtown will have 3,753 square feet of event space, plus a rooftop bar for additional function space. A few blocks away, The Hotel Chalet at the Chattanooga Choo Choo features traditional guest rooms and restored vintage train cars, with indoor and outdoor event space, including a ballroom seating 200 theater style. Downtown’s historic Read House has 241 guest rooms and 12 event spaces, including the elegant Silver Ballroom, seating 400 for dinners.
Chattanooga Convention Center has 185,000 square feet of flexible space, with 21 meeting rooms and six ballrooms. The convention center is connected to the 340-room Chattanooga Marriott Downtown, which offers 9,862 square feet of function space.
Additional downtown hotels, all on the free electric shuttle route, include The Chattanoogan Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, with 199 guest rooms and 22,061 square feet of event space; The Westin Chattanooga, with 260 guest rooms and 16,662 square feet of event space; and 186-room DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chattanooga Downtown, with 11,368 square feet of event space. Located at Hamilton Place Mall, Drury Plaza Hotel Chattanooga Hamilton Place has 210 guest rooms and more than 2,500 square feet of function space.
Unique teambuilding opportunities and excursions in Chattanooga include hang gliding and paragliding at Lookout Mountain Flight Park, hikes to Sunset Rock or Snooper’s Rock for iconic views, and fun for all ages at Creative Discovery Museum and the Tennessee Aquarium. Offsite venues include the 5,000-square-foot Chattanooga Whiskey Event Hall; Tennessee Aquarium, which can host up to 3,000 attendees; Bessie Smith Cultural Center, with a performance hall, an atrium, a terrace, and galleries; and Skyline Loft at Ruby Falls, a 3,500-square-foot event space on Lookout Mountain.
