WASHINGTON, D.C. – Destinations International, the global trade association for CVBs and tourism boards, has launched a new podcast, Architects of Destination Advocacy.

Designed for advocates in the tourism sector, each episode shares stories about the biggest issues in the travel and tourism industry.

A new episode, featuring various destination organization leaders, will be available each month at destinationsinternational.org and everywhere podcasts are available. The first episode is titled “The Night the Funding Ran Out,” and features Jack Johnson, Destinations International’s chief advocacy officer. The series is developed and hosted by the Destinations International advocacy team.

“For this series, we want to tell the stories of the usual and unusual suspects in our industry’s history and some key moments throughout destination organizations around the globe,” said Don Welsh, president and CEO of Destinations International. “Jack Johnson and his team have an exciting lineup of guests ready to share their triumphs and disappointments during their careers that will encourage and inspire our members and listeners throughout our industry.”
