Renovations at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld

Renovations at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld were receiving the finishing touches during my early February visit to the 28-acre property.

As I toured the tropically landscaped resort with Director of Sales and Marketing Steven Green, beautiful chandeliers were being hung in the Majestic Ballroom of the new Palms Conference Center and final details were underway along the new Palm Promenade, an expansive outdoor event area, with a covered pavilion, large fireplace and lawns.

Other upgrades include covered walkways, a new fitness center, technology enhancements and the renovation of all 1,020 guest rooms. With 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space and located just three blocks from the Orange County Convention Center, the property can accommodate groups of up to 2,000. It’s also family-friendly, with multiple pools and gardens, a miniature golf course, an onsite restaurant and market, all within walking or shuttle distance of SeaWorld.
