DALLAS—Fairmont Dallas announces the hiring of Jessica Gaskin as the hotel’s new director of operations. In addition to overseeing hotel operations, Gaskin will join the hotel’s executive committee.

Gaskin comes to Fairmont Dallas from Omni Hotels, where she played a pivotal role as a key leader overseeing seven operational teams: front office, guest services, housekeeping, valet, spa, retail, and loss prevention. She led a diverse team of more than 180 associates and consistently achieved top rankings in brand initiatives. Her strategic leadership resulted in significant cost savings, including a notable reduction in housekeeping contract labor and overtime expenses. During her tenure at Omni Hotels, Gaskin improved guest-service scores across multiple metrics, including overall experience, service, and guest-room ratings. She was also instrumental in the successful execution of a $10 million renovation project, which enhanced guest rooms and the hotel lobby, further showcasing her operational acumen.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jessica to Fairmont Dallas,” says David Sher, general manager of Fairmont Dallas. “Her dedication to operational excellence and ability to lead diverse teams makes her an exceptional addition to our leadership. I am confident that her experience and commitment to service will elevate our guest experience and drive continued success for our iconic Arts District hotel.”

Adds Gaskin, “I am honored to join Fairmont Dallas and contribute to the legacy of exceptional service for which this property is known. I look forward to working with the talented team here and continuing to create memorable experiences for our guests.”

Situated in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, the 545-key Fairmont Dallas includes a rooftop terrace with a garden and junior Olympic-sized pool, 70,000 square feet of meeting space, the Pyramid Restaurant, and an onsite Starbucks. The hotel celebrated its 55th anniversary this year, solidifying its place as a Dallas landmark.
