Fayetteville is an authentic city where mountains and meetings mix naturally, says Tina Archer-Cope, vice president of sales at Experience Fayetteville. “We are home to the University of Arkansas Razorbacks and have all the amenities and youthful energy of a college town, especially in the Dickson Street Entertainment District,” she says. “Our scenic views, authentic vibe, and great downtown dining and entertainment experiences are just a few reasons why meeting planners and event organizers keep coming back year after year.”
Fayetteville offers unique teambuilding and excursion experiences, Archer-Cope says. “You can visit the SEC Touchdown Club and take a tour of the elevated team locker rooms, snap a field photo, or dine with ‘Sooie,’ the team mascot,” she says. “We are just 30 minutes from one of Arkansas’ best state parks, Devil’s Den; our team can curate a group hike or bike on many trails in the park or around the city, or set up lake activities with paddle boats, aqua cycles, or a pontoon tour.”
Fayetteville also makes for a great base camp for hiking nearby Kessler Mountain or floating down the Buffalo River, America’s first National River.
Larger hotels and event spaces in the city include Graduate Fayetteville, with 234 guest rooms and 12,000 square feet of meeting space, and Hilton Garden Inn Fayetteville, with 115 guest rooms and 9,226 square feet of function space.
