LOUISVILLE, Ky. –  Progress Park, a glamping resort in Louisville, Ky., will be adding a 10,000-square-foot event center.

As reported by The Louisville Courier-Journal, Progress Park, a 12-acre “glamping” resort, previously used an 80 ft. x 40 ft. tent for its large events. The new event center will allow Progress Park to host events year-round. It is slated to open in late spring or early summer 2024.

The Event Center is an extension of our vision for the park, which is to create a place where guests can feel secluded in nature while enjoying modern conveniences and amenities,” Val Pifer, co-owner of the park, said in a news release.

According to the article, the event center will feature garage doors, a catering prep area, a wraparound covered patio, and a recessed stage.

The park began when two couples purchased the vacant land and converted it into a glamping destination.
