
AUSTIN, Texas—Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin has appointed Travis Breen as director of sales, marketing and events. In this role, Breen will oversee sales, marketing, and event strategies for the hotel, reporting directly to interim general manager Claudia Dowdy.
“I am thrilled to join the Hyatt Centric Austin family and help showcase the magnificence of our hotel and the city as a destination,” says Breen. “My goal is to work shoulder to shoulder with our team, helping guests explore everything Austin and its vibrant downtown offer.”
Breen brings 24 years of hospitality expertise to the team. He has worked in virtually every hotel position, at major hospitality brands like Kimpton, Hilton, Intercontinental, and Choice Hotels. Breen has held numerous senior leadership positions including vice president of sales & marketing, vice president of business performance, and vice president of sales & revenue management.
