JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront has appointed Debbie Famiglietti as senior event planning manager, bringing more than 20 years of hospitality and event management experience with Hyatt to the downtown Jacksonville hotel.
In her new role, Famiglietti will oversee event budgets, supervise service standards, and direct hospitality operations to support high-quality guest experiences. The property is located along the St. Johns River next to the Main Street Bridge, offering a downtown setting for meetings, conferences, and events.
“I am happy to join the team at Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront,” says Famiglietti. “I look forward to stepping into my new role and to design events where our guests can connect, enjoy, and experience all Jacksonville has to offer.”
Famiglietti began her Hyatt career in 2000 as catering manager at Hyatt Regency Cambridge (Mass.). In 2005, she advanced to associate director of convention services at Hyatt Regency Jacksonville before moving to Hyatt Regency Denver in 2007 as convention service manager. She was promoted to senior event planning manager in 2014, continuing in that role for more than six years.
She later took on event planning leadership assignments at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek (Colo.) and Hyatt Regency Minneapolis before becoming senior event planning manager at the Minneapolis property. In 2023, she joined Hyatt Regency Columbus (Ohio) as senior event planning manager, leading meeting and event planning teams and developing experiences for clients and guests.
“We are happy to welcome Debbie to the Hyatt team,” says Kate De Master, director of sales and marketing at Hyatt Regency Jacksonville. “We cannot wait to see her leadership in action and the impact she will make on bringing dynamic conferences, meetings, and memorable events to our property.”
Famiglietti’s appointment adds an experienced event professional to the hotel’s team as it continues to serve meeting planners and event organizers in downtown Jacksonville.
