Hyatt Revamps Meeting Spaces

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – How do you make one of the most romantic restaurants in America even dreamier? At the Eagle’s Nest, Indiana’s only rotating rooftop restaurant, you redesign it top-to-bottom as part of the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis’ multi-million-dollar renovation.

The first phase of the hotel’s makeover, which includes a redesign of its more than 35,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces, is now complete. Located in the heart of the city and connected via skywalk to the Indiana Convention Center, the event space features a 9,400-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,100 guests.

In response to feedback from meeting attendees, the hotel also added smaller breakout spaces throughout its conference areas for small group meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Spaces such as the 1,000-square-foot Studio Lounge have been entirely redesigned to create more open floor plans. The lobby area has also been updated with new flooring, furniture, modern lighting and décor. The renovation’s second phase, expected to be completed in early 2020, will include guest rooms and suites, the indoor pool and additional public spaces.
