SAN ANTONIO—JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa is rolling out a series of summer enhancements aimed at meeting and event planners, including new group experiences, wellness offerings, and customizable event packages designed to elevate conferences, incentive trips, and executive retreats.
Set on 600 acres in the Texas Hill Country, the resort offers more than 265,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, including the Grand Oaks Ballroom, breakout rooms, boardrooms, and outdoor venues, such as the Riverbend Pavilion event lawn and Hill Country terraces.
Among the property’s featured summer offerings is the JW Garden Party, a customizable event concept for corporate groups, social gatherings, and receptions. The experience includes chef-curated menus highlighting seasonal Hill Country ingredients, botanical displays sourced from the resort’s JW Garden, interactive elements, and live acoustic entertainment.
The resort has also introduced Glow Golf, an after-hours mini-golf experience that transforms the lawn near the Riverbend Pavilion into an illuminated course. The activity is available for private group bookings and can be incorporated into meetings and special events as a team-building option.
Meeting planners also can take advantage of the resort’s eight onsite dining venues for group functions. Options range from private dinners at 18 Oaks steakhouse to casual gatherings at Cibolo Moon and sports-themed events at High Velocity. The property offers customized menus, culinary stations, and seasonal dining experiences tailored to group needs.
The resort’s 26,000-square-foot Lantana Spa continues to focus on wellness-oriented programming for incentive groups and executive retreats. New summer offerings include guided outdoor sound baths, group wellness sessions, and customizable spa experiences. Private spa buyouts are also available.
Additional activities for attendees include access to TPC San Antonio’s two PGA TOUR championship golf courses, Topgolf Swing Suites, fitness and yoga classes, walking trails, and tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts.
To support summer meetings, the resort is offering flexible group package options, including F&B credits, room upgrades, themed break stations, and dedicated planner amenities. The packages can be customized for corporate meetings, incentive programs, and large-scale conferences.
The property’s expanded offerings are designed to help planners create programs that balance business objectives with networking, recreation, and wellness opportunities in a resort setting.
