The conference center at Mississippi State University’s Riley Center accommodates more than 900 for general sessions, 600 for receptions, and more than 500 for banquets. Another downtown destination, the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience (The MAX), boasts several indoor and outdoor event spaces, including a 3,000-square-foot Hall of Fame space for a capacity of 250, a roof terrace for 110 guests, and a multipurpose gallery for receptions of 150 people.
For accommodations, the elegantly restored 131-room Threefoot Hotel, Meridian, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel sits adjacent to the Riley Center and features a rooftop bar and event space for smaller gatherings of 40. Near 1-20, Hilton Garden Inn Meridian has 1,938 square feet of event space, including four event rooms and space for 200 guests at receptions and 146 people for banquets. The 180-room Drury Inn & Suites Meridian has more than 3,400 square feet of space and can host 154 seated theater style and 80 classroom style. Also, Holiday Inn Meridian E – I 20/I 59 has 122 guest rooms and offers 2,400 square feet of meeting space—including 1,300 square feet of pre-function space—for a capacity of 200 people.
