The popular Atlantic resort town of Ocean City in Worcester County offers picturesque coastal views, restaurants, and other amenities, making it a memorable backdrop for any event.
Roland E. Powell Convention Center features 18 meeting rooms and more than 75,000 square feet of continuous exhibit space to accommodate 380 exhibit booths or more than 7,500 guests for receptions. The 19,000-square-foot Bayfront Ballroom can host a capacity of 2,700 guests for receptions, 1,070 for banquets, and more than 470 in classroom configuration. The 14,000-square-foot Dockside Exhibit Hall opens to the bayfront boardwalk and can host up to 1,290 guests for receptions, 710 for banquets, and 73 exhibit booths. The convention center also features a 1,200-seat performing arts center ideal for concerts, keynotes, awards ceremonies, and other activities.
Ocean City has 11,500 hotel rooms, with 30 hotels offering event space. The 111-room DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront has two onsite restaurants and 9,296 square feet of event space, with a capacity of 177 people seated theater style. Near the boardwalk, the 225-room Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront Suites has 2,954 square feet of event space across four event spaces, with a capacity of 99 people for receptions in its largest space. The hotel is set to debut a refreshed lobby this month.
In midtown, the beachfront Holiday Inn, Ocean City features a conference center with multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces. The hotel’s ballroom accommodates up to 500 people, and a pre-function lobby area can host up to 200. Near the pool, the hotel’s outdoor event space can host gatherings of 100 people.
