Just six miles from the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge offers a variety of venues for smaller groups needing less than 50,000 square feet of space, including the LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge, which can accommodate 12,000 attendees, says Leon Downey, executive director of the Pigeon Forge Dept. of Tourism. “We are a town with only 6,600 permanent residents, but we have more than 16,000 guest rooms. We offer extraordinary mountain views, a world-class theme park, more than 80 attractions for all ages, plus an array of restaurants, shops, and lodging options.”
Several hotels have recently opened or are scheduled to open in summer 2025, including the 162-room Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Pigeon Forge; 252-room Drury Plaza Hotel Pigeon Forge; 118-room Cambria Hotel Pigeon Forge; 123-room TownePlace Suites Pigeon Forge; and 168-room Embassy Suites by Hilton Pigeon Forge Resort, which has 3,672 square feet of function space.
The LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge has 17 multipurpose rooms and 100,500 square feet of clear-span exhibition space for seating up to 11,500 theater style. Larger hotels include the 208-room Ramsey Hotel & Convention Center, with 18,066 square feet of meeting and event space; 303-room Music Road Resort Hotel, Inn & Convention Center, with 16,000 square feet of function space; and Dollywood’s 302-room HeartSong Lodge & Resort, with 26,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. The resort is adjacent to Dollywood’s 300-room DreamMore Resort, which has additional event space. The 112-room Hilton Garden Inn has 2,595 square feet of meeting and event space in three event rooms, including a 36-seat tiered theater.
