Part of southeastern Florida’s “Treasure Coast” and just north of Palm Beach, Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie offer small groups a laid-back slice of “real Florida” without sacrificing excellent venues and amenities.
The multi-use Havert L. Fenn Center in Fort Pierce features a 22,700-square-foot exhibit hall accommodating 2,500 classroom seats, 2,000 for banquets, and 3,200 seated theater style. The center also has six flexible, multipurpose rooms spanning more than 10,000 square feet. Other venues include the 100,000-square-foot MidFlorida Credit Union Event Center, which has two ballrooms, a lobby, and other spaces for a capacity of 1,200.
The PGA Village Golf Club includes three championship courses and the 130-room Hilton Garden Inn at PGA Village/Port St. Lucie. The hotel features seven meeting rooms and accommodates 100 guests. The 274-room Marriott Hutchinson Island Beach Resort, Golf & Marina features 30,293 square feet of event space, including 21 meeting rooms. The resort accommodates a capacity of 510 in its largest space. Other hotels with small event spaces include Courtyard Hutchinson Island, Homewood Suites by Hilton at Tradition, Courtyard by Marriott Port St. Lucie, and Residence Inn Port St. Lucie.
Other venue options include the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens, which has indoor and outdoor space for 375 people. The historic 1923 Sunrise Theatre in Fort Pierce offers several event venues, including the Black Box, which seats 200, and the main stage, which has a capacity of 1,200.
