Greensboro CVB CEO Henri Fourrier steps down after 30 years of service

Henri Fourrier, president and CEO of Greensboro Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), has retired after three decades of leadership. The organization celebrated his retirement at a send-off party June 10 at Piedmont Hall, which included a number of city and county leaders, tourism partners, family, friends, and current and former CVB staff.

Jackson County’s new campaign unveils new visitor-friendly offerings

Jackson County Tourism Development Authority (JCTDA) has launched a new marketing brand campaign, “More Peak Moments.” Inspired by the county’s eight mountain towns—Balsam, Cashiers, Cherokee, Cullowhee, Dillsboro, Glenville, Sapphire, and Sylva—the new campaign invites visitors to embrace their own “peak moments”  in the western North Carolina destination.
