Recently opened, the 280-room Drury Plaza Hotel has 2,800 square feet of meeting space to host 280 people. The hotel is near both university campuses and the state capitol complex.
Hotels and venues with larger event spaces include the 154-room AC Hotel Universities, with 13,000 square feet of meeting space and
a rooftop venue; 242-room Doubletree by Hilton, with 10,600 square feet of event space; 120-room Hyatt House Capitol–University,
with 2,000 square feet of meeting space; and 153-room Four Points by Sheraton, with space to host 275 guests.
Facilities on the FSU campus include the Augustus B. Turnbull III Florida State Conference Center, with a 350-seat auditorium,
a 280-seat dining hall, and seven breakout rooms. Florida A&M University, one of the nation’s largest historically Black universities, offers a 1,100-seat auditorium and other event and classroom spaces.
