DALLAS, Texas — Sheraton Dallas is providing a new outdoor destination for events, just minutes from the largest hotel in northern Texas.
The Sheraton Dallas’ catering team has partnered with Pacific Plaza Park, a green space spanning 3.7 acres in the middle of downtown Dallas and just steps away from the hotel. Pacific Plaza Park offers a backdrop of city lights and now, the opportunity to combine outdoor and indoor space for a meeting with the Sheraton Dallas Hotel.
The park features a 614-foot-long Indiana limestone seat wall which traverses the entire park, over 140 newly planted trees, an 11-column pavilion, 31,950 square feet of lawn space, and night-sky friendly lights throughout the plaza. Three food truck power outlets are available on nearyb Harwood Street, and standard outlets are located throughout the park. Outdoor amplified sound is allowed in conjunction with a special event permit between the hours of 9 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Sheraton Dallas Hotel offers 1,840 guest rooms and 230,000 square feet of flexible meeting and convention spaces. The hotel also features a pool and one of the largest hotel fitness centers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, such as Peloton bikes, versatile strength training, cardio machines, and free weights. In November 2019, the hotel completed a massive, multi-million-dollar renovation of all guest rooms, public areas, food and beverage outlets, and meeting and convention spaces.
