VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Virginia Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau welcomed the community to the 2021 Tourism Summit held in the Virginia Beach Convention Center on October 21, 2021.

Several hundred people attended to learn more about the impact of tourism and strategies to promote the resort city’s offerings to domestic and international travel audiences with a focus on leisure travel, group travel, meetings and conventions, sporting events, and more.

The afternoon also included a Q&A panel with industry leaders and keynote address from Roger Dow, president and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association. The free, public event is scheduled to be hosted annually.
