Jennifer Rothman joined the Discover Long Island team in 2006 as an Administrative Assistant. In 2008, Rothman began the role of Sports Development Manager. With a lifelong passion for sports, she has spent the past 12 years increasing Long Island’s awareness as a prime sporting event destination hosting events including Synchronized Swimming, USGA Golf Championships and NCAA Championships. Jennifer further enhanced her skills, taking over the International & Domestic travel and sales markets for Discover Long Island in 2019 while still contributing to sports development for the region. Rothman works with tour operators and agents across the world to generate increased long haul tourism to Long Island contributing to its $6 billion dollar yearly tourism economy.
