
ATLANTA, Ga. – The Westin Atlanta Gwinnett has completed its executive team ahead of the hotel’s opening in March.
With the addition of human resources, revenue strategy, and finance directors, the core hotel leadership has begun to move ahead toward the grand opening of the property in March. Located in the Gas South District, the 11-story, 348-room hotel will feature 14 event rooms spanning more than 27,000 square feet. The Westin Atlanta Gwinnett is owned by Concord Hospitality.
Shanetta Woods, director of human resources; Talia Sattler, director of revenue strategy; and Shirley Riggins, director of finance have joined the core hotel executives. These three join Mark Castriota, general manager; Heather Willett, assistant general manager; Russell Stewart, director of sales and marketing; Julie Bilecky, director of catering; Robert Bennett, executive chef; and Ashley Castillo, director of food and beverage.

In addition to its event spaces, the new hotel will offer numerous amenities, including signature wellness programs, restorative sleep features, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Guest rooms and suites offer amenities including high-speed Wi-Fi, 55″ smart TVs, desks with ergonomic chairs, and mini-fridges.
Guests and visitors will also be able to experience 360-degree views of the region at the hotel’s rooftop bar, Overstory. Featuring two outdoor firepits, visitors can enjoy unique beverages and small-plate food offerings while taking in views of north Georgia.
The Westin Atlanta Gwinnett will also feature a full-service ground-level restaurant called SweetSong Kitchen & Bar, focused on locally sourced and sustainable ingredients. Additionally, the property includes a full-service Starbucks with preorder and mobile pay options, a mobile order window specifically for Gas South District guests, and outdoor seating. The hotel will also provide an indoor pool and the signature Westin WORKOUT Fitness Studios for guests.
Located in Georgia’s Gas South District, guests will be near the events at Gas South Arena, take in a show at Gas South Theater, or walk to an event at the Gas South Convention Center. Guests and visitors will also have convenient access to Greater Atlanta attractions such as the World of Coca-Cola and Georgia Aquarium.
