GULF SHORES, Ala. (April 4, 2019) —
The results are in for ConventionSouth’s list of the Top Resorts with Style. In mid-March, ConventionSouth Editors compiled a Facebook ballot with a list of 50 stylish resorts that exceed expectations. From those resorts, ConventionSouth readers and Facebook fans were asked to vote for their top picks.

“Taking advantage of the region’s excellent climate and many scenic settings, resorts in the South offer some of the best places for groups of all kinds to meet, relax and enjoy a wide range of recreational activities,” said ConventionSouth’s Senior Editor Marcia Bradford. “Additionally, both new and re-imagined resorts in the South are continually upgrading their accommodations, meeting facilities and F&B offerings as well as providing unique and memorable experiences for groups. The resorts selected by our Facebook fans reflect all of these attributes and also bring the ‘wow’ factor that planners seek.”
The following list of 15 resorts gained the top votes. The May print and digital issue of ConventionSouth will share this list with meeting planners from across the country that book meeting sites in the South. Resorts appear in alphabetical order.
