WASHINGTON, D.C. – Newly opened this past November in Washington D.C.’s burgeoning NoMA neighborhood, The Morrow Washington DC, Curio Collection by Hilton offers 11,400 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
On top of this, the hotel also has three food and beverage venues from Michelin-starred chef Nicholas Stefanelli as well.
The Armature Ballroom
Located on the second floor, this spacious ballroom features 3,150 square feet of open space for maximum versatility. This expansive, pillarless room accommodates up to 180 guests, providing a venue for large conferences, galas, and special events. A dedicated foyer space provides a breakout for pre- or post-event functions, and the ballroom opens onto The Veranda, an expansive 2,200-square-foot terrace. This semi-private terrace is ideal for mingling and dinners–allowing guests to move in and out of The Armature Ballroom. The space accommodates 250 guests for standing cocktails and 150 guests for a seated dinner. Features include a retractable awning roof, a built-in bar top that runs the full length of the space, and a showcase cantilever overhang with a city-inspired oversized piece of art. Guests have the option to book The Veranda as a part of larger events in The Armature Ballroom or rent the space separately for smaller events.
The NoMa Rooms
This modern, versatile venue is ideal for smaller meetings and social gatherings from 12 to 36 guests. Versatile configurations can be arranged within 800 square feet of space with optional conference-style room design or intimate event set-ups. Located on the Mezzanine Level, it’s an appropriate choice for private dinner parties or executive board meetings.
The Tanner Room
This nimble corner room is located on the second level overlooking the D.C. skyline with views of The Capitol Building. Offering 875 square feet that can be utilized as a stand-alone space, breakout, or combined with the other offerings as a full floor buyout for up to 42 guests.
Dining venues
Guests will also have the option to do full buyouts of the food and beverage venues operated by Stefanelli including Le Clou, offering a modern take on the traditional French brasserie; Vesper, a cocktail lounge; and Upstairs at The Morrow, a rooftop lounge and bar with breathtaking views of the city. Stefanelli and his team will also be responsible for all events, weddings, and meeting spaces.
Unique amenities
In addition to its catering program, the meetings and events venues at The Morrow feature striking views of D.C. landmarks, floor-to-ceiling windows, fire pit capabilities, multipurpose design, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a wide range of audio and visual equipment. The Morrow also has a wedding and events team in place to assist with decor and event planning onsite that is bookable upon request.
