Greater Miami & The Beaches

Aside from its international cultural offerings and energy, Miami offers excellent event locations, one-of-a-kind offsite venues, and 64,000 guest rooms across 480 hotels.

Still fresh from a $620 million renovation and expansion, the 1.4 million-square-foot Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) features nearly 500,000 square feet of flexible exhibit space, a new 60,000-square-foot grand ballroom, a new 20,000-square-foot junior ballroom, and 84 breakout rooms. The convention center is within a one-mile radius of 98 hotels and 10,455 guest rooms. Opening in the convention center district in spring 2026, the 800-room Grand Hyatt Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel
will serve as the MBCC’s new headquarters hotel. The hotel will connect to the meeting venue via a pedestrian sky bridge and offer 90,000 square feet of indoor event space, 10,000 square feet of outdoor space, and five food and beverage outlets. Besides the beach, nearby attractions include the Bass Museum of Art, Miami Beach Botanical Garden, and numerous restaurants and shops.

Miami’s second-largest convention center, the Miami Airport Convention Center (MACC), has 172,000 square feet of meeting space, a 29,000-square-foot ballroom, 100,000 square feet of exhibition space, three ballrooms, and more than 50 meeting rooms. Adjoining and sharing event space with the convention center is the newly renovated 334-room Doubletree by Hilton Miami Airport & Convention Center.

The Miami Convention Center in downtown Miami consists of two adjoining buildings—the convention center and the James L. Knight Center—and features three separate theater-style venues, offering a combined 5,000 seats, 28,000 square feet of divisible exhibition and banquet space, and 17 meeting rooms. The complex connects to the 615-room Hyatt Regency, which has an 11,840-square-foot ballroom with a capacity of 2,000. The convention center complex sits near 32-acre Bayfront Park on Biscayne Bay, Bayside Marketplace, and excellent restaurants.

Top Miami hotels with meeting space include downtown’s JW Marriott Marquis Miami, which has 313 guest rooms and 138,598 square feet of event space, including 41 meeting rooms; the largest, at 18,482 square feet, accommodates 1,500 for receptions and theater-style seating. The 1,504-room Fontainebleau Miami Beach contains 107,000 square feet of event space, while the 653-room InterContinental Miami on the waterfront downtown features 100,000-plus square feet of event space, including a 13,314-square-foot grand ballroom with a capacity of 2,000. The 615-room Hyatt Regency Miami has 73,133 square feet of event space and an 11,840 square-foot Regency ballroom with a capacity of 2,000 guests.

For a truly local vibe, Miami Beach’s Lincoln Road offers excellent event venue options. The Art Deco-style pedestrian thoroughfare features public art, lush native plants, and more than 200 boutiques, restaurants, and interesting spaces. Euclid Oval is a favorite public gathering spot ideal for concerts, pop-ups, and other events. South Beach Food Hall, featuring a large, enclosed dining area served by multiple cutting-edge restaurants, is available for private events, as is the New World Center & SoundScape Park, which accommodates gatherings of 756 people. The stunning 1111 Lincoln Road Garage is available for large receptions, formal dinners, and other events, and offers spectacular city views.
