Thompson and tommie Austin hotels appoint Christina Fry as general manager

AUSTIN, Texas—Hotels Thompson Austin and tommie Austin have announced Christina Fry as their new general manager. In her new role, Fry will oversee the day-to-day functions of the downtown Austin hotel duo, including supervising in-house staff, managing monthly and yearly budgets, and implementing marketing strategies, among other responsibilities.

Fry has 13 years of hospitality experience, most recently serving as general manager of Andaz West Hollywood. She started as a front office agent at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, and went on to several leadership roles, including director of rooms and F&B director at such notable Hyatt properties as Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort (Hawaii) and Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa (Ariz.).
