The Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) has announced that Annette Gregg will step down as CEO of SITE and SITE Foundation, concluding her tenure on Oct. 1, 2026.

SITE is the only international business events association dedicated exclusively to incentive travel, with more than 3,600 members across 90 countries.

Gregg has led SITE through a period of significant growth and evolution. During her tenure, SITE reached the largest membership in its 53-year history and welcomed record-breaking attendance at its events. The association also achieved record financial growth and strengthened its long-term financial position, reaching the highest gross and net revenue levels in SITE’s history. SITE’s marketing reach grew fivefold, significantly expanding the association’s visibility and voice across the global business events industry.

Under Gregg’s leadership, SITE broadened how it serves and connects its global community. The association launched new member Communities, expanded its presence in key international markets, established new chapter affiliates and task forces across LATAM and Europe, and strengthened collaboration with its chapter network.

SITE’s certification portfolio was renewed and expanded, with the Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS) certification made available online and on-demand in both English and Spanish, alongside the introduction of new virtual, on-demand Specialty Certifications that provide targeted continuing education on key topics for incentive travel professionals. New and expanded industry partnerships also created additional opportunities for education, professional development and growth.

Gregg also championed new initiatives designed to strengthen SITE for the future, including the launch of the C-Suite Agency Summit, new consulting services, and an expanded portfolio of industry partnerships and revenue-generating programs.

Following her departure from SITE, Gregg will take on a CEO role with another association.

“Annette has led SITE through a period of significant growth, and the association is stronger for it,” says Hasan Dinç, president of SITE. “On behalf of the International Board of Directors, I want to thank her for her commitment to our members, our chapters, and our global community, and to wish her every success in what comes next. The Board’s focus now turns to continuity for our members and chapters, and to appointing a leader who will build on what has been achieved.”

Reflecting on her time at SITE, Gregg says, “Leading SITE these last four years has been one of the great privileges of my career, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished together. We’ve grown our global reach, reaching record revenue and membership, while trying new concepts and evolving our relevance to our growing global community. Most importantly, we’ve continued to prove the incredible power of incentive travel to transform people, businesses and communities. SITE has always been about its people—our members, chapter leaders, volunteers, partners, and an extraordinary team—and they are what I will treasure most from this experience.”

The SITE International Board of Directors is managing the leadership transition, with a focus on continuity for members, chapters, partners, and staff. The SITE team will continue to lead day-to-day operations; more details regarding interim leadership and the search for SITE’s next CEO will follow.
