RIDGELAND, Miss. — AC Hotel by Marriott Jackson Ridgeland, the brand’s first property in Mississippi, began welcoming guests late last month.
The hotel is a collaboration between local developer Kerioth Corporation and hospitality manager McKibbon Hospitality.
“We are excited to bring an upscale hotel experience to Ridgeland, Highland Colony Parkway, and The Township (a nearby planned development),” says Gabriel Herring, Kerioth Corporation development and operations manager. “We hope you will find the AC Hotel Jackson Ridgeland to be a gathering place for both work and play. As always, projects of this scale do not happen without great people putting in a lot of hard work. We are grateful to have a wonderful team on all levels. The partnerships formed with the City of Ridgeland, McKibbon Hospitality, and numerous others along the way have brought together a truly great project.”
With more than 1,000 square feet of versatile event space, planners and hosts will find options that are both collaborative and efficient. More intimate and private meeting spaces can be reserved in one of the AC Media Salons, suited to accommodate up to 10 people and equipped with the latest audio-visual technology. For alternative event and meeting needs, the hotel offers 575 square feet of “flex space” located adjacent to the AC Lounge that can easily be secured for private meetings. Finally, the AC Patio can be reserved for those seeking an outdoor option for their next meeting or event.
The five-story structure features 132 guest rooms featuring sleek furnishings, an open closet system, and hardwood floors. AC Hotel Jackson Ridgeland provides services and amenities such as a 24-hour fitness center, business center, onsite parking, and mobile check-in options.
The AC Lounge offers guests a space of reprieve by day and a lively social gathering spot by night. The bar features a menu of artisanal cocktails, local craft beers, and tapas-styled small bites.
Each morning, the AC Kitchen, which resembles a residential kitchen, serves European-inspired continental breakfast selections, including prosciutto and butter croissants imported from France. The multifunctional space converts to a communal table in the evenings and can be utilized as a meeting space.
“We graciously invite you to enjoy the AC Hotel Jackson Ridgeland with colleagues, friends, family, and loved ones,” said Herring. “Our team of smiling faces is ready to welcome you.”
AC Hotel Jackson Ridgeland is located in The Township at Colony Park, home to a great deal of activity in the city featuring numerous retailers, restaurants, and professional services. The hotel is hosting a grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live entertainment, hotel tours, and refreshments on Tuesday, February 22 at 10:30 a.m.
