TAMPA, Fla. – The dual-branded Aloft & Element Midtown Tampa has rebranded its rooftop bar as Sal Y Mar Rooftop Bar & Events Venue.
The venue offers 5,250 square feet of adaptable indoor and outdoor space, including a poolside experience with 360-degree views of Tampa and St. Petersburg skylines, making it an ideal option for a variety of unique events and meetings. To mark the rebranding, Sal Y Mar is extending a variety of packages and offers for the holidays.
“We decided to build on the quick and established success of our rooftop bar to better market and manage all of the hotel’s exceptional meetings spaces and services under the Sal Y Mar name,” said Evette Torres, dual general manager for Aloft and Element Hotel. “Whether coordinating a wedding or corporate gathering for 100 guests, or a private social get-together for a handful of friends, locals and event planners can expect nothing but the best from our team of professionals.”
The Skyline Ballroom offers city views and can be converted into two rooms to accommodate up to 225 guests. Meeting planners can also choose from two board rooms for more intimate meetings, as well as a Skydeck for a one-of-a-kind, indoor-outdoor celebration. Inclusive wedding and special event catering packages are available.
For meeting planners looking to spice things up, Sal Y Mar’s rooftop bar draws on Mayan influences from the Mexican coastal town of Tulum and is dressed in earth tones and coastal organic finishes, with fresh linens, bamboo ceiling, and hanging hammock chairs. Whether gathered for happy hour, special events, or a fun evening out with friends, guests can enjoy panoramic skyline views of the Bay area. The 4,900-square-foot space provides a new option for private social or corporate gatherings. Sal Y Mar can accommodate up to 71 guests inside and 118 outdoors.
