ORLANDO, Fla. – Caribe Royale Orlando, central Florida’s largest all-suite luxury hotel, has received the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award for 2020.

“We are thrilled by this recognition and thank our customers for their excellent reviews on TripAdvisor over the years,” said Amaury Piedra, Caribe Royale’s newly appointed managing director. “As the world begins to travel again, these awards highlight and provide much needed support for some of the best places to visit around the world, and we are honored to be among them.”

Piedra is a bilingual hospitality industry professional with 25 years of sales and operations experience leading Four Diamond lifestyle hotels, convention hotels, and multi-unit complexes in the U.S. and Caribbean, including properties for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.

“Amaury’s decades of experience with upscale, luxury, and convention hotel management, his involvement in renovation and expansion development, and his leadership in the convention and visitors bureau industry are a winning combination for us,” said Sierra Lodgings Group, Inc.’s CEO Dan Kaplan.

“I am thrilled to join the Caribe Royale team,” added Piedra. “It is a dream to manage an independent upscale hotel, and I am looking forward to applying my hospitality knowhow as our hotel continues to enhance the ‘Royale’ experience for our business and leisure guests.”
