Cobb County combines approximately 14,000 hotel rooms with one of metro Atlanta’s most concentrated meeting and entertainment districts. The destination is approximately 20 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and 10 minutes from downtown Atlanta.

Cobb Galleria Centre is moving forward under a new name, Cobb Convention Center Atlanta, as it undertakes a renovation and expansion expected to be completed in 2027. The venue currently offers more than 320,000 square feet of flexible event space, and the project will add more than 13,000 square feet, a two-story grand entrance, a junior ballroom, outdoor event courtyards, additional natural light, upgraded technology, and connected, all-weather parking. Existing convention, concourse, rotunda, and ballroom areas are also being refreshed.
Approximately 2,700 guest rooms are within a mile of the convention center, including Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center, Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta, Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria, Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Galleria, and Sheraton Suites Galleria-Atlanta. Pedestrian connections link the convention campus with the Renaissance, Cumberland Mall, Truist Park, and The Battery Atlanta. A renovated pedestrian bridge and a reversible ramp from Interstate 75’s express lanes further improve access.
The home field of the Atlanta Braves, Truist Park offers a variety of group spaces and options, including private suites, the Xfinity Rooftop, and on-field activities. The Battery’s restaurants, bars, live music, and attractions make post-meeting programs at Truist Park easy to organize. Additional nearby teambuilding choices include The Escape Game, Good Game powered by Topgolf Swing Suite, Muse Paintbar, Main Event, Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, and Dave & Buster’s.
For groups venturing beyond the convention district, Marietta Square adds historic character; Smyrna supplies an expanding dining scene; and Kennesaw brings Civil War history. Cobb County’s beverage producers form the Cobb Ale Trail, and its restaurants include MICHELIN-recognized options. Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, performances at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, and other local attractions give attendees and accompanying families reasons to extend the trip.
