GULF SHORES, Ala. – The results are in for ConventionSouth’s list of Revitalizing Resorts. In February, our editors compiled a Facebook ballot with a list of 74 resorts that offer opportunities to recharge and revitalize. From those resorts, ConventionSouth readers and Facebook fans were asked to vote for their top picks.
A complete list of the 74 resorts nominated can be found on ConventionSouth’s Facebook page.
“It’s been a year since the world shut down, and the meetings industry is ready for renewal. These resorts provide opportunities to do just that, with spectacular scenery, a warm climate, and great amenities,” said ConventionSouth’s Associate Publisher, Ashleigh Osborne. “Despite recent hardships, resorts across the South haven’t slowed down in their efforts to deliver a top-tier experience. They’re still upgrading, renovating, and re-imagining their accommodations, meeting facilities and F&B offerings, and they have gone above and beyond to offer unique and memorable experiences that follow best practices in health and safety.”
The following list of 15 resorts gained the top votes. The May print and digital issue of ConventionSouth will share this list with meeting planners from across the country who book meeting sites in the South. Resorts appear in alphabetical order.
