During COVID-19 outbreak, Nashville goes “virtual”

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  – In a world impacted by COVID-19, social distancing has become the norm. However, the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. (CVC) is focused on keeping people connected “virtually.”

While concerts, events, and other attractions have been canceled, there are plenty of virtual experiences available in the city.

The award-winning documentary “It All Begins with a Song: The Story of the Nashville songwriter” tells the story of local songwriters, beginning with the struggles, through paying dues, and finding their way through the creative process.

“We celebrate their success, from the eureka moment of uncovering that musical gem that turns into a hit to receiving a Grammy and hearing how their words and music change people’s lives. But most of all, we pay tribute to the most valuable resource in the music industry today,” reads the Nashville CVC’s website.

“For the Love of Music: The Story of Nashville” shares how Nashville evolved into the world’s premier Music City.

The story includes the careers of music superstars such as Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, and others who built the foundation of one of America’s most vibrant music scenes.

The one-hour documentary tells the tale through the eyes of the musicians, songwriters, producers, and artists who “live and breathe the inspiration” of Nashville.
