OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Everest Group has confirmed work has begun on its $1 million Everest Place project.
As reported by GrowthSpotter, the company’s Zafir Rashid was present at the recent ICSC@Florida conference to provide an update on the project, which includes retail, medical offices, and residential units, as well as what the company is calling “the first Muslim-friendly, conservative lifestyle hotel in North America.”
The 163-room hotel, known as Mysk Hotel, will be operated by Shaza Hotels, with plans for another second down the line. The Mysk Hotel will be an alcohol-free environment.
The second phase will see the construction of a Nickelodeon-branded resort, which will have 200 hotel rooms and 209 condo-hotel units. Rooms will be themed with Nickelodeon characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer. GrowthSpotter reports other amenities will include a kids’ club; several restaurants, cafes, and shops; and a pool.
The development also includes a water park, which will be accessible to all resort guests. Amenities at the park include an oversized pool, water slides, and a “flow-rider” attraction.
