FORT WORTH, Tex. – The Fort Worth Stockyards and Marriott’s Autograph Collection Hotels has announced Hotel Drover is set to open in early 2021.

Located just steps away from the new, award-winning Mule Alley district, Hotel Drover embodies rustic-luxe design through its modern hacienda decor while honoring the historical past of the Fort Worth Stockyards. The hotel’s location and historical intrigue will introduce guests to the rich history of the Texas cattle trade and will celebrate its connection to the National Historic District’s unique culture, shopping, architecture, entertainment, and nightlife.

Hotel Drover will offer 200 rooms and suites for guests to return to after a day of exploration. From cozy guestrooms, oversized soaking tubs, and fireplace suites to modern bunkhouse rooms and vintage-inspired retreats, all rooms offer an authentic Texas-style ambience. Hotel Drover rooms include beds with luxury sheets, down comforters, Los Poblanos organic bath amenities, wet bars, and more.

The high-end resort includes more than two acres of outdoor living space, including a beautiful pool, flagstone courtyards, multiple water features, fire pits, music stage, and outdoor games.

“Our goal is simple—Hotel Drover pays homage to the Stockyards’ National Historic District in Fort Worth and harnesses the true spirit of the drover to create a new legacy for the Stockyards,” said hotel general manager Kristin Assad.

The hotel features more than 12,000 square feet of meeting space, including the picturesque Legacy Hall with its private balconies overlooking Marine Creek and Mule Alley, and the event barn along with meeting rooms and spaces for gatherings of all kinds,

As they gear up for opening, Hotel Drover is dedicated to the safety and well-being of its team and guests. All staff is trained on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines regarding personal hygiene and safety during COVID-19.

Staff members’ temperatures are checked daily and every measure is taken to ensure guests’ safety.
