SAN ANTONIO, Tex. – The San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter and San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk, part of Marriott International Inc., have announced Loris Menfi as general manager.
Menfi brings more than 25 years of hospitality experience in critical operational leadership positions.
In addition to 17 years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where she served in various roles across seven locations, Menfi has also worked with Loews Hotels and Resorts as general manager in San Francisco and New Orleans, and as hotel manager in Philadelphia.
Most recently, she was general manager of the JW Marriott Houston by The Galleria, where she lead a transformational renovation and oversaw the creation of the first-ever JW Market among other accomplishments.
She also sits on the board of directors of the Hotel Lodging Association of Greater Houston.
“I am thrilled to join the team in San Antonio and look forward to leveraging my own experience to not only lead our team but also to provide the best possible experience for our guests,” Menfi said.
The San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter features more than 1,000 guestrooms, 80 suites, 70,000 square feet of event space with 45 individual rooms and salons, and an event capacity of up to 6,500. The San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk has more than 500 guestrooms, five suites, and 17,000 square feet of event space with 14 meeting rooms and an event capacity of 1,100.
Both properties offer guests a fitness center, swimming pool, and on-site food and beverage offerings, including San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter’s signature Texas-modern restaurant, Tributary.
