MIAMI—Kimpton Angler’s has launched two new meeting spaces, the indoor SoBe Room and the outdoor SoBe Terrace. In addition to new spaces, the hotel has also rolled out a new program for groups and planners with inspired group experiences and Miami-inspired menus.
Previously a rental space for pop-up events and showings, the SoBe Room has been transformed into a 2,500-square-foot ground-level meeting room with a 1,470 square-foot outdoor promenade (SoBe Terrace).
The new spaces are located within steps of Kimpton Angler’s main entrance and living room lobby, Bar Habana, and El Patio restaurant. They can be booked together or separately. The SoBe Room can accommodate up to 150 guests reception style, 120 guests banquet style, 70 theater style, and 40 classroom style. The SoBe Terrace is available for banquet-style seating for up to 100 guests. Together, the two spaces increase the hotel’s meeting offerings from 19,000 square feet to 22,970 square feet.
Kimpton Angler’s rejuvenated banquet and catering menu has scalable options, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets, boxed lunches, morning and afternoon breaks, and receptions. Beverage and all-day packages are also available.
Sourced by the onsite restaurants and bars managed by Georgios, the menu highlights include the Little Havana breakfast buffet with Cuban-style toast and pork belly chicharrónes empanadas and pastelitos; Mikonos lunch buffet featuring steak kebabs and Greek lemon potatoes; and snack break options ranging from guava and cheese pastelitos to house-special pimento and cheese dip, assorted fruit, cookie, and muffin platters.
The hotel’s new banquet menu also includes five teambuilding options, such as a yoga class, mojito class, a Happy Hour challenge, a cozy pasta and wine experience, and the chance to “sip, savor, and salsa” with the Cuban experience. Beverages and bites are included, and a minimum 15 people is required.
