ATLANTA—JW Marriott and Stonebridge, a Denver-based hospitality management and development firm, have unveiled the newly reimagined JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown, introducing a transformed luxury hotel designed to bring elevated accommodations, wellness-focused amenities, and expanded dining options to the city’s downtown core.

Located at 45 Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd., the 237-room property sits near major attractions, including Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Georgia Aquarium. The hotel marks Stonebridge’s entry into the Atlanta luxury hospitality market and represents the second JW Marriott property in the city.

The redesigned hotel features four dining concepts, a rooftop pool and spa, approximately 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and one of the city’s largest executive lounges.

Designed by Texas-based Looney & Associates, the property incorporates natural textures, layered lighting, and earthy tones intended to create a calm, restorative atmosphere. Artwork from Atlanta-based artists, including Kevin Chambers, Mark Mangione, Caroline Bullock, Suzi Selman, and Vera Pawelzik, is displayed throughout the hotel.

Guest accommodations range from single-king and double-queen rooms to a presidential suite with floor-to-ceiling city views. The hotel also includes 24 “Mindful Rooms” on a designated Quiet Floor, featuring such wellness amenities as yoga mats, hand weights, massage guns, and spa-inspired bath products.

Dining venues include The Ledger Bar and Lounge, a lobby-level restaurant centered around Southern-inspired dishes and craft cocktails; Fiora, a breakfast concept that will later expand to lunch and dinner service; and JW Market, which offers grab-and-go selections. The Perch, an all-weather rooftop pool bar, is expected to open in the coming weeks. The rooftop level also includes the brand’s signature JW Garden, where herbs and plants grown onsite will be incorporated into menu offerings throughout the property.

“Bringing JW Marriott to an urban destination like Atlanta is deeply meaningful for our brand,” says Bruce Rohr, vice president and global brand leader, JW Marriott. “With JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown, we are extending our mindful, holistic approach to well-being into the heart of the city—creating a place that supports balance, presence, and intentional living amid the energy of downtown. As our second JW Marriott in Atlanta, this opening represents an important step in the brand’s continued expansion within the market, thoughtfully rooted in design, purpose, and a strong sense of place.”

Adds Rob Smith, Stonebridge president/CEO, “The opening of JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown marks an important milestone for Stonebridge as we expand our portfolio into Atlanta and the luxury and lifestyle hospitality space,” Smith says. “As downtown continues to evolve and prepare to welcome global visitors for milestone events like the FIFA World Cup, we are delighted to introduce a JW Marriott experience that reflects the city’s energy while offering a sense of calm, thoughtful luxury to the area, steps from Atlanta’s most-celebrated attractions.”

The hotel’s event offerings include conference rooms, banquet halls, and flexible gathering spaces designed for corporate meetings, weddings, and social events. Among them is Blank Canvas, a customizable venue with white walls and wood flooring, and The Haven, a lounge-style pre-function space for smaller gatherings.
