KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – For groups looking to get off the beaten path, Ancient Lore Village in Knoxville, Tenn., offers a dash of whimsy, with lodging names like “Leprechaun Lair” and “Gremlin Den.” In keeping with their fanciful theme, the property recently launched a “Create Your Own Adventure” feature.
With this new program, small groups can pick and choose from a series of food and activity offerings without the assistance of a meeting planner. Groups can book an afternoon, a day, or a weekend.
“Providing unique and affordable entertainment options has always been part of our founder’s vision for the Village,” said CEO and general manager Melissa Blettner. “Our latest offering will now allow small groups to explore all the uniqueness of the Village, including our newest activity offerings along with some of our a la carte culinary options.”
Activities include archery, axe throwing, croquet, happy hour at the Tree Elf Nest Patio, and BYOC (Bring Your Own Cigar).
Groups can book their adventures by visiting the events calendar at ancientlorevillage.com. Choose a date on the calendar labeled “Create Your Adventure,” add activities, dwellings, and meal options to the cart, and check out.
All visitors will have an opportunity, at their leisure, to explore the other village offerings, such as hiking the trails at Pinnacle Point, enjoying the sunset at The Boulders on top of Boyd Hollow Falls, or unwinding at the Yeti Cave with a beverage while gathering around the Village Firepit.
